April is here and the first quarter of 2012 is over. Of the eight items listed in my goals for 2012, I can happily say that I’ve achieved some of them.
- Complete my MBA – Still in progress, but it’s going smoothly
- Make Odd Cents bigger and increase its popularity – Still in progress, but I’ve increased blog views from 243 in September to just over 2500 in March 2012.
- Complete my Diploma studies – Grumble, grumble. The exam is in June, so we’ll see.
- Start a tourism blog – The Barbados Travel Blog is on and popping.
- Save some money – I started the 10 percent solution in February, so I’m guaranteed to save at least ten percent of my salary every month.
- Create an income generator – Failed and failing miserably
- Exercise – Taking my dog for a stroll is not what I meant, but it’s better than doing nothing, right?
- Improve my time management skills – Sigh… Some days I get it done and some days I don’t. Working for people makes it difficult to use these skills at work.
How are you getting through with your goals? Have you fallen off the bandwagon? If you have, now is the time to re-focus and get started again! Nine months left in 2012, so get going!
